It will help to the maximum extent to popularize the tourist locations created under the project and to attract tourists, lovers of Apitourism and other alternative, sports and culture in the Burgas - Kameno region, as well as nationally and internationally.

Its will also provide a 24/7 opportunity for feedback, expressing opinions and proposals for the development and improvement of tourist products, as well as reporting the number of online visitors;

The website will continue to be maintained even after the end of the project implementation period and will contribute to the sustainable development of the project results, incl. in the field of Environmental Education.

The project corresponds to the indicators of the measure BG14MFOP001-4.098 - Development and popularization of the identity of the territory of MIRG "Burgas - Kameno":

- Projects that lead to the formation of a local tangible and/or intangible tourist product;

- Projects that aim to preserve, identify, restore and renew natural and/or cultural and/or historical heritage.

By popularizing local beekeeping traditions in a digital environment, incl. The hereditary continuity of the region's ancient tradition of beekeeping.

The current situation in the beekeeping sector:

The honey industry is adapting to meet new challenges.The protection of bee colonies is more and more focused on the protection and development of the entire natural environment, incl. the cultural landscape rather than an isolated approach and is also increasingly people-centred.

The emphasis in modern approaches is on apiaries being fully realized as part of the local community and its daily life. In this way, apiaries are given a second life - a reinvention and a meaningful meaning that responds to contemporary needs and questions.

Digitization and online access enable previously unknown forms of contact with bee production and heritage and create new sources of income.

By turning apiaries and regional heritage sites into public spaces that produce both social and environmental resources, the cities and regions that preserve them become engines of economic activity, centres of knowledge, hubs of creativity and culture, and places of community interaction and social integration. They generate innovation and contribute to the achievement of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in line with the objectives of the EU 2030 strategy.

Producers of honey and bee products are evolving, including through the digitization of locations and products for sale, their connection in open networks and the fact that they are becoming widely accessible to citizens.

Through the creation and publication of the products made according to the project on the Internet, the current situation of chaotic, uncoordinated and separate use of the apiaries in the region will be overcome, as well as their connection with local objects with the potential for alternative, sports, cultural, religious tourism, etc.
