A basic principle of the universe is to keep all elements together and in balance. The bees are together in the hive and through their work combine different elements such as pollen and nectar, salt and fresh water into their product honey. Through its bee products, the bee is indispensable for preserving biological diversity in nature.
Therefore, since 2017 and until now, every May 20, the BEE has been honoured all over the world.
About the World Bee Day project Slovenia proposed that the United Nations (UN) declare May 20 as World Bee Day. On December 20, 2017, after three years of efforts at the international level, UN member states unanimously approved Slovenia's proposal, thus declaring May 20 as World Bee Day.
